My name is Michelle Gunn and I offer a safe space for you to feel heard and listened to. I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor based in Taunton, Somerset. This means I have studied many different theories of therapy and counselling and can blend the right theory and practice to suit an individual’s needs, as everyone is different. Counselling offers a safe confidential space for you to talk, free of judgment and expectations. 

Before qualifying as a Counsellor, I have spent the past 21 years working as a Veterinary nurse. This has given me a greater insight into love and loss. I am compassionate, warm and caring. I offer a space where joy can also be celebrated, I believe laughter is a great form of healing.

• Certificate in online and telephone counselling
• Certification in Gestalt group facilitation (in progress)
• Foundation year of Pesso Boydon Therapy 
• DBS check
• ICO registered

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and hold professional liability insurance. I adhere to an ethical framework and commitment to work ethically, respectfully and professionally. Confidentiality, boundaries and continued professional development are key to my practice.
